Approved Architectural Permit Required Before Starting Any Construction Project

Don't forget to submit your application to build, repair, or repaint BEFORE you begin work. Once the building, repainting, or construction project is complete, the architectural committee should be notified for a completion inspection and return of any deposits due.

Important sections of the Fairview Forest Restrictive Covenants and regulations deal with architectural requirements. Many of the guidelines pertain to new construction in the community, but also apply improvements once the primary structure is complete. For example, if a resident changes the paint color of the residence or out buildings, an application must be submitted to the Architectural Committee for approval. The new color should comply with guidelines established by the Board. Another example is out-buildings such as gazebos, storage sheds or detached garages.

The Architectural Committee is responsible for enforcing the covenants and regulations which relate to architectural to ensure building requirements are met and the integrity of the neighborhood is maintained.
