You can volunteer for the Greenspace Committee by emailing info@fairviewforest.com.

The Greenspace committee coordinates with the Roads Committee to have all ditches cleared of leaves each year in the fall to ensure water drains off the roads.

The Mountain is abundant with wildlife. On the trail you may see
various birds such as hawks, various species of songbirds, owls; a variety of snakes such as Black snakes, Copperheads or rattlers. One may also see an occasional bear.

Committee Responsibilities

The Greenspace Committee is responsible for maintaining property owned by the Association. Combined, these properties are commonly known as “greenspace.”

The largest common area in the community is a long parcel of land that runs parallel to Fairview Forest Drive, known as Arrowhead Trail. Maintenance of this area is the primary responsibility of the Greenspace Committee.

The Greenspace Committee is also responsible for:

  • Planning and coordinating improvements to the greenspace areas within the community, the grounds, and other common areas.
  • Overseeing mowing operations on the Clubhouse grounds, side roads and along the main road.
